Susan Sutter Interiors is an award-winning boutique design firm, based in Arlington Virginia, specializing in residential interior design.

Susan, originally from North Carolina, has experience with new construction, renovation, and historic properties.  She trained with the New York Institute of Art and Design and has a love of  historic homes with character, natural light, and color. She enjoys incorporating fun patterns and color into her designs that are crafted to each client's tastes, styles, and preferences.  Susan launched her interior design firm in Arlington, VA in 2016, after ten years of helping family and friends with their own homes.  Her goal is to help others surround themselves in spaces that reflect their personalities, meet their family's functional needs, and bring joy to everyone who uses them.

 

Her design work has been featured in publications such as Southern Living, Good Housekeeping, Cottages and Bungalows, The Washington Post, DC Modern Luxury, Kitchen & Bath Business, Kitchen & Bath Design News, Arlington Magazine, and Northern Virginia Magazine.

Susan also enjoys photography and exploring the world with her husband and two sons.
